Meet the Team
With Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices since 2007, Brent oversees all operational aspects of the company including finance, human resources and administrative functions. His particular focuses include client services, strategy design, and Brent has a strong believe in customer services and team member development. In his tenure, he has presided over the company's most prosperous financial periods. His disciplined approach has enabled the successful completion of multiple acquisitions and expansion into new business practices and service sectors. While investing extensively in key initiatives and systems across the business, he has ensured that the company is always working towards its vision of providing world class customer contact solutions to its partners. He was recognized for excellence by the Sioux Empire United Way in 2007 as their Volunteer of the Year and the contact center also has received numerous nationwide awards during his tenure; most recently as Strategic Partner of the Year for an international client and Philanthropic Member of the Year by the American TeleServices Association. Brent is a member of the L&S Board.
Prior to joining L&S, Brent held the position of Vice President at Wells Fargo where for more than 12 years he enjoyed a diverse and successful career. Brent graduated from Westmar University with a double major; Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Finance.
Vice President of Operations
Troy has been a part of Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices since May of 2009, and this past October helped coordinate the company’s relocation to a new facility with new state-of-the-art telecommunications technologies. He is responsible for day-to-day operations of TeleServices which include staffing, work force management, technology, facilities management, and sales support. In addition to his duties, Troy is the driving influence behind the company’s total quality management and employee satisfaction programs. One of his proudest accomplishments is helping provide stable employment to over 175 employees; while helping them develop their careers.
Troy is also an active community advocate. He served on the Sioux Falls Habitat for Humanity Board from 2008-2011 and is active in the Knights of Columbus. In addition, Troy was recognized in 2006 and 2007 by Wells Fargo with their prestigious Volunteer Service Award for his work and impact at the Children’s Miracle Network.
Troy graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in Business Administration. He then went on to receive his MBA in Management from the University of Sioux Falls. Before joining L&S, Troy held the several Senior Management positions within the Finance and Customer Service Industry, where he enjoyed a diverse and successful career for more than 12 years.
National Sales Director of Contact Center Outsourcing
Joel started with Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices in 2011. Joel oversees the day to day operations of the Business Development and Sales Teams. Joel's focus is to provide clients and perspective clients customized solutions to best fit their needs of growing and retaining their customers. Joel’s team is a vital part of the L&S client strategy as they are responsible for turning our client’s customer service from being a cost center into a profit center. Joel’s passion for achievement doesn’t stop just with L&S. For over 15 years, he has been active in the community as a Junior Achievement Classroom Volunteer, Lutheran Social Services School Based Mentor, and has served numerous terms on the United Way Executive Cabinet and as a campaign volunteer.
National Sales Director
Ray Peterson, originally from Dallas, Texas and a 19 year resident of Sioux Falls, joined Lawrence and Schiller TeleServices as the National Sales Director for its’ Insurance Division in 2012. His responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations for the Insurance division, including Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. Ray received his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a double major in Management and Economics. He has spent the past 20+ years in the financial services industry, serving in senior leadership and vice president positions in sales, business development and customer service.
Director of Client Services
Georgette joined our Director team in 2010 and ensures L&S delivers total customer satisfaction in a passionate, relentless, and impactful manner to all of our clients. Her department is responsible for fostering long term relationships with our partners, ensuring we understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
With nearly 20 years of contact center management experience, Georgette has a passion for delivering customer satisfaction, coaching, and team member development. Her determination and customer focus have contributed to her successful management of teams responsible for supporting the United States Military, colleges across the country, and many customers in the banking and technology sectors.She stands true to her motto; which is “Work hard…Play hard…In that order!" Georgette is a licensed Foster Care provider, giving back to the communities where she lives and works.
Human Resources Manager
Tanya joined the Lawrence & Schiller Teleservices team in 2012. She handles all of the Human Resource and Recruiting efforts for our ever growing and expanding 200 seat contact center. She oversees all areas of human resources including recruiting, staff development, employee recognition, benefits design, handbook and FMLA administration, and our human capital initiatives.
She is passionate about her career and believes in the positive influence human resources can have on a company. This passion and drive is demonstrated by her positive attitude, respect for fellow employees, and willingness to “get her hands dirty.” She wants to ensure that every employee feels welcome and appreciated by creating a fun, comfortable, and encouraging work environment. Tanya earned her degree in Psychology & Business from South Dakota State University and a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University.
Tim started with Lawrence and Schiller in the early 1990’s and helped the contact center in its evolution from research and data collection to a full service 24/7 customer contact center. Throughout his career, Tim has worked in every aspect of the contact center, including leading departments such as Operations, Sales, Work Force Management, and Outbound Telemarketing.
Tim took a leave of absence from the center but returned to L&S in 2010. He currently serves as the Operations Manager where he works closely with Work Force Management to provide timely and accurate call reporting, call forecasting, and client dashboards. Tim is also an integral part of our client services team where he assists operations and account management with the implementation of new Inbound and Outbound campaigns.
Before joining L&S, Tim spent several years in the U.S. Army as a part of Special Operations serving worldwide, and is the graduate of numerous military academies. In his spare time, Tim enjoys writing and is the author of four suspense novels.
Crystal joined Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices in 2010 to manage the companies account management and quality assurance programs. She is responsible for developing quality assurance programs and overall program execution to not only exceeds the client’s expectations, but to exceed their customer’s expectations. Crystal’s curriculum development, team member training, program implementation, and attention to detail allows L&S to seamlessly become an extension of our clients brand; while launching new or enhancements to your programs. She also serves as the point of contact for team members and clients on day-to-day operations.
Crystal graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Management and specialization in Human Resources. Prior to joining L&S, Crystal held account management, business development, and manager roles at Wells Fargo Financial Bank during a five year career there.
Chauncy has been with of Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices since April of 2006. Through her strong commitment to customer service and her extra mile results, Chauncy was promoted from a customer service agent to team lead. From there, she earned her 2nd promotion to Customer Service Manager in 2008. As she continued to hone her call center skills and gained more experience in all aspects of contact center management, Chauncy was promoted to manage the centers Work Force and Staffing in 2010. Today, she works tirelessly on agent scheduling and call allocations so L&S can deliver world class customer service every minute of every day.
Chauncy is passionate about delivering exceptional service levels to all of our clients while balancing team member utilization and company resources. Through her dedication, L&S continue to offer strong cost effective and efficient contact center services to all of our clients.
Online Marketing Manager
Julie Hoyer is the online marketing manager for Lands Health. In this role, Julie will help oversee the online lead recruitment efforts utilizing web tools and resources. Julie has been in the advertising field for twelve years and has held marketing positions in both corporations and advertising agencies.
Julie is a board member for the South Dakota Advertising Federation and is also a member of Business and Professional Women (BPW) and the Young Professionals Network (YPN). She is also active in Junior Achievement, United Way, Health Connect of South Dakota, and the American Cancer Society. Julie and her husband own and operate Next Edge Academy of Martial Arts, a mixed martial arts school in Sioux Falls.
Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls where she double majored in Business Administration and Spanish with an emphasis in Marketing.
Business Development Manager
John joined the Lawrence and Schiller team in 2012. John brings 6 years of experience with him, working in various management roles with a financial institution in a call center setting. John is responsible for the growth of new business opportunities. Working with organizations to grow and develop their business is a challenging but rewarding experience that John enjoys.
John graduated from Minnesota State Mankato with degrees in Business Management & Human Resources. John went on to receive this MBA from Bellevue University in Human Resources Management.
Customer Service Manager
With Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices since 2006, Dave is the Customer Service Manager overseeing our international office supply servicing team. Dave was the original account manager for this client when they became a partner of L&S back in January of 2008.
Since that time, his approach to providing strong quality and service level adherence has made the difference in helping us go from a vendor to a partner with this client. Managing over 20 team members who handle manufacturing support and trouble shooting, Dave team mirrors his passion for servicing and it shows in their results.
Dave’s team was nominated out of 150 partners for this client and the Board awarded L&S their 2011 Strategic Partner of the Year Award. While honoring Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices with the 2011 award, Jeff Nielson, vice president of customer relations and distribution, shared his sentiments.

Prior to joining L&S, Dave graduated from Dakota State College with a Bachelor of Science in Education and worked in the food service industry for 20 years.
Chris joined the Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices team as the new IT Manager in February 2013. He will be a great addition to the organization for onsite help with IT and software related issues. His software programming skills will give Lawrence and Schiller Teleservices an advantage because of his ability to help with the creation, development and implementation of new CRM software. His responsibilities will also include maintaining and upgrading current client interfaces.
Chris graduated from Augustana College with a double major in Computer Science and Business Administration. Previously, Chris was an IT Director and programmer for a DVD rental kiosk company operating 150 kiosks throughout the Midwest. He helped lead the company to success and ultimately its sale in 2012. Chris also works with his wife Mary to help promote breast cancer awareness by serving as the IT Chair on the SD Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Committee.
Kevin oversees all aspects of the L&S accounting department. His responsibilities include client accounting, billing, daily transaction, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end financial reporting.
Kevin graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2004. Before joining Lawrence & Schiller, he worked for Shaw Construction in Denver, CO, and Maguire Iron Inc., in Sioux Falls where he worked as a senior staff accountant.
